The Untold Reality

It was the first day of January, a new year had begun but no celebration, no joy, no hope, no promise that could be fulfilled. It was the time of  complete darkness where nothing else was preferred over money, we were divided in three classes i.e. low class were killed brutally, middle class were being neglected and tortured while high class were forced to pay ransom for pseudo protection. There was no power that could exceed the force of army and I would define justice as obeying orders of army leaders whether it is just or unjust.
This is the time 1776, we all were confined by the French in their French revolution. I am an orphan name's James Burton and I wanted to put an end to this revolution, I wanted revenge for my parents. I was under the protection of agency who too wanted an end for this revolution and they were the one who trained me, my future was sealed as an assassin. I was nineteen when my parents died in a burning house and this act was of no one except the French, six years had passed but no difference can be seen in the bloodshed of our streets. My training had been completed and when I look back into the past, I realize that this bloodshed started when we were promised for an evolution but instead we were rewarded with revolution when our government fell. During the six years of my training as an assassin, my mind grew mature, my senses sharpened, my body hardened but most of all, I learned to control my emotions between favoritism and hatred. I kept myself hidden from the world, no one knew my real identity nor my real name, I would often bribe others so that they could tell me about French leaders who would be then my targets. I had my group of most trusted companions who would advice me in my plans and as the time passed I met face to face with the master mind of all this plot i.e. Dagmar Miles, he escaped from me many times because of his high security and sometimes he would survive a fetal wound.
In our last meeting, he was not so lucky. I still remember our last battle, he was travelling with his convoy through a forest during a dark night, I signaled my group of rioting locals to attack and we were successful in distracting the guards. Once Dagmar Miles came out of his carriage I showed myself to him and we started our final battle, I was more skilled than he was so he tried to flee from the battle ground and this time I was not leaving any opportunity to murder him. We both again met with each other on the end of a cliff and soon it started raining, once the thunder stroked we ran towards each other and our fierce battle started. None of us were ready to give up and when I noticed  that he is now in a weary state, I attacked on his wrist with my sword which resulted in his sword being thrown off the cliff, my second strike was on his legs and he kneel before me, my final blow was on his chest and I escaped from that scene. The leader which rose to power after him was different than the others before him, he was either too kind or too afraid but he called off the revolution and our government came back with a promise of prosperity.

The Apparent Unseen

Have you ever sensed any weird activity? Paranormal activity? Unearthly sounds? Moving objects without any visible applied force? No? Yes? But I doubt, it wont be like what I experienced. It was one of the most dark nights in November, here in California. My family is one of the most respected nobles because of our successful trade in cotton, corn, wheat and rice, that night my family went to attend an opera and I was well aware that they would not return for five hours but even then, I decided to stay in our mansion.
Since I was the only son of the Caulfield family, I was treated like a prince in my house, in the streets and in other noble houses. We have many servants, five or six for every member of our family and on the entrance gate that is why my parents did not hesitate to leave me alone. All my life I was proud of myself, my class, me genre, my choices but my stay on that night proved to be a fetal mistake of my life. I came to my room after seeing off my parents, on the way I felt as some one is watching me and is behind me but none could be seen. When I entered my room I realized that my room window was open and I was sure that it was not me who opened it that night. I sat on the chair, turned on my laptop and mean while I started writing my dairy. My most loyal butler, Balfour entered my room to ask for any kind of need that I had and I turned this opportunity down but I did asked about the window and he said that none of our servants has entered my room since morning. Balfour left and few moments later I remembered about my father's next meeting and I went him but he was not in the corridor, it was like he had just disappeared with the wind.
I went down to the kitchen to ask about Balfour from our chef, but no one was there and it forced me to think where our servants had gone. As I was going towards the main door, some one grabbed me from my shoulder which completely paralyzed me and when I looked back it was Balfour who told me not to go out because of the cold weather. I asked about the father's meeting and went back to my room, I again felt as some one is watching over me and this time I heard some voice calling my name. When I entered my room, the window was again open and my laptop screen was unstable, without doubt I saw an old lady hovering in the sky. I rushed down and went into the kitchen where I saw my chef covered in blood, he opened his eyes and said "Whats wrong? Charles!", without knowing anything I ran into the hall and called for Balfour. My butler did not come nor any other servant of mine, there was blood every where and I ran out in the garden where I saw a my guard holding a chainsaw covered in blood. He waved his left hand and all the servants surrounded me calling my name, I did nothing and just stood there when someone threw water on me, I came back to my senses and realized that my guard was holding a torch light, all the other servants were having worried look on their faces, the one who threw water on me was Balfour. I asked them about the blood and how they came back from being dead, they replied that there is no blood and none of them died, my chef said that I ran away from him when he asked about my need.
I was completely at sea about the situation, Balfour requested me to go inside and change. I did so but then again I started to see the old lady and dead servants and again was saved when some one threw water on me, all of my servants started attending to me more and were anxious. This continued for hours until my parents returned but even then I sense different paranormal activities till this day, I am Charles Caulfield from the Caulfield family who cannot live the sweet side of his life.

Destruction from within.

It was mid of December in 1939. I still remember those dark clouds hovering in the sky above me, that chilling breeze which froze me to the marrow,  that cold feeling which forced me not to go back, no sound of crows was to be heard. Only the threatening sound of thunder in the sky entered my ears and warned me about the incoming rain and my senses told me to find a shelter or else it was death in the dead winter in those silent outskirts.

When the rain was certain, I ran here and there in search of shelter like a fox after its prey. No men was to be seen, no ruins were capable of hiding me, no tree was huge enough, no caves were formed. In no time at all it started raining, my body was only getting colder after every step that I took so I decided to wrap up in mantle and wait for the storm to calm. It was still raining ferociously when I heard a sound of passing by lorry, I stood up and waved for them to stop, the lorry indeed stopped and four men came towards me. I never had thought that they were from the German army who would seize me as their slave, but it was useless to struggle against them because it was extremely cold, they were armed and I had no place where I could go back, this sacrifice was better than to die alone in the cold. I knew nothing about what they would do to me or where faith would take me.

After travelling for more than five hours, we reached our destination that was the German army base, they took me out of the lorry and forced me towards their prisons like all other prisoners. They treated us coldly with only one time launch and not much to eat except boiled potato, they would force us to work for more than eight hours. After three days their general showed up to check upon us, all the prisoners were abusing him but I stood still doing nothing. While he was passing by, he noticed me and stood in front of me, he didn't even blinked an eye or did any kind of gesture, he only stood there and was noticing me. In the coming day, two army men grabbed me and took me to the general office. The general told me that he wanted me to do a highly skillful task and that none of his men were capable of this, he bribed me and in return he would set me free. He said nothing else until I accepted it, he ordered his men who took me inside a small tent where they made me emotionally touched and my heart got filled with anger against my own family and country. They only thought me the basics of army training.
At last, the general called me again and told me about my objectives. My objectives were to destroy my country's army base, I was in a situation from where I could not reject it and continued to listen to him. One night they woke me up and ordered me to get ready for battle field, I did as they ordered and we traveled in the army truck. We reached our hiding area from where we would attack them, it was the mid night of January and one batch of our army attacked from one side while another batch went inside their base from behind including me, My objectives were to plant the bomb named T-E-R-M-I-N-A-T-O-R and I did so, we only confronted few soldiers in our penetration and escaping. My batch were successful but those who were fighting and distracted the enemy died, when we were on our way back to the base I activated the bomb and my objectives were completed. Inside the base, general congratulate me and gave me my freedom but today the same army is after my life because I am working with my own country men.
